Building robots, shaping futures – support Brampton’s rookie FIRST® LEGO® League Team!
FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Challenge introduces kids ages 9–14 to real-world engineering challenges by designing, building, and programming LEGO® robots to complete themed missions. Children also learn teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Our team is open to children ages 9–14 who live in or near Brampton. No prior robotics or coding experience is required — just curiosity and enthusiasm!
The registration fee is $50 per child, which helps cover team registration, materials, and supplies. Additional fundraising and sponsorships support the cost of running the team.
We meet Saturday mornings in Brampton from September 2025-February 2026. Extra meetings may be scheduled closer to competitions. For exact location, please contact us at info@bramptonFLLteam.com.
The FLL Challenge season runs from late summer through early winter, with local competitions and events typically held between November and February.
No problem! FLL is designed for beginners. Coaches and teammates will help, and kids quickly learn through hands-on experience.
The 2025–2026 theme is UNEARTHED™, where teams explore the hidden stories and resources of our world through robotics and innovation.
Our team follows the FIRST® Youth Protection Program, which sets clear standards to ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants. This includes:
Screened coaches and mentors (background checks as required by FIRST).
Two-deep leadership (at least two adults present at meetings and events).
Codes of conduct for students, parents, and coaches.
Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or unsafe behaviour.
You can read more about FIRST’s youth protection program here: FIRST Youth Protection Program.
Parent support is encouraged but not required. Some families may choose to help with fundraising, carpools, or snacks.
